Red Aluminium Heart Dog & Cat Tag

$20.99
Size
Four dark blue paw print icons arranged horizontally on a white background, each above text reading FREE ENGRAVING, FREE POSTAGE, FAST DISPATCH, and 5 YEAR GUARANTEE.

This Aluminium Red Heart Pet Tag is heart-shaped tag for owners who want something a little softer than the classic bone or disc, in anodised aluminium. One honest trade-off against our stainless steel range: aluminium is lighter and softer, so it isn't recommended for pets who chew or worry at their tag — stainless is the better choice for a determined chewer.

DOUBLE-SIDED ENGRAVING.

Available in two sizes — Small (22×22mm) and Medium (31×31mm).

Engraved in Adelaide, dispatched within 24 hours

Every tag is laser engraved to order in our Adelaide workshop. Order by 9am Adelaide time on a business day and we'll engrave and post it that day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or on weekends and public holidays, go out the next business day.

Free delivery Australia-wide

Delivery by Australia Post is free on every order, wherever you are in Australia. Most metro orders arrive within 3-6 business days of dispatch. Regional, rural and remote addresses can take a little longer.

It comes in your letterbox

Your tag is posted as a letter in a standard white envelope, not as a parcel. It fits in a standard letterbox, so there's nothing to sign for and no trip to the post office. Please check your regular mail before letting us know it hasn't arrived.

Check your delivery address

Address autofill, especially on mobile, sometimes changes a unit number, suburb or postcode without you noticing. Please check the address on your order confirmation email and contact us straight away if anything needs correcting. We can update it before your order is engraved.

If your order doesn't arrive

Let us know within one month of dispatch. We'll normally engrave and send a replacement at no cost. If you'd rather have your money back, we'll refund any order that hasn't arrived within 20 business days.

What should I engrave on my pet's tag?

Your mobile number matters most. It's the quickest way for a finder to reach you. After that, most owners add their pet's name, their suburb, and a second number if there's room. Words like "Microchipped" or "Needs medication" are worth adding too. They tell a finder your pet can be identified by a vet, or needs care quickly.

Do I need my council registration number on the tag?

It depends on your state and council. Some councils issue their own registration tag that must be worn, and some ask for owner details on the collar. Rules differ between states and between councils, so check your council's website, or see our guide to Australian pet tag laws.

How should I write my phone number?

Write it the way people would dial it in Australia, for example 0412 345 678. If you travel overseas with your pet, you could use the international format instead (+61 412 345 678).

How much text fits on a tag?

Each tag has a maximum number of lines and characters, shown in the engraving boxes when you order. Shorter lines engrave larger and are easier to read, so keep it to the essentials if you can.

Will my engraving be centred?

Yes. We centre every line of engraving both horizontally and vertically on the tag.

Can I choose a different font?

Our engraving is automated, so we can't offer a choice of fonts online. If you need something special, email info@pet-tags.com.au and we'll let you know what's possible and what it would cost.

Why does my tag's layout look different from what I typed?

We sometimes adjust spacing and line breaks to suit the tag's shape and the length of your text. This keeps the engraving as large and clear as possible. We never change the words themselves.
